It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Roy Pitts of Collierville, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Roy Pitts and Eloise Shaver of Parkin, AR.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Person Pitts; his daughter Leigh Murley Phillips (John) of Collierville; and his granddaughter Sydney Kate Murley.

In lieu of flowers, the family request any donations be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital.
