He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis Spoon and Dorothy Willis; his wife Mary Lou Ables; his siblings, Glen Ables, Margaret Culperson, Chuck Ables and James Ables; his daughters, Katie Kretzschmar and Barbara Ann McWilliams; his stepchildren, Shawn Kelley and Heather Floriani (Clayton); and his grandchildren, Robert Kretzschmar, Chris Kretzschmar, Shannon Ables, Jessica McWilliams, Brandon Ederds, Felicia Hamm, Christina Ederds, Jack Kelley, Wyatt Kelley, Brett Kelley, Mia Floriani and Edie Floriani. He was also cherished by great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
