He was predeceased by: his parents, Tasso Harry Stavros and Leila Tringas Stavros. He is survived by: his wife Ann McKenzie Stavros; his children, John Stavros, Lynne Deaton (David) and Laurie Ford (Shea); his sister Helen Stavros; and his grandchildren, Jack Ford, Sarah Ford and Emma Deaton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the "Human Fund" or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
