He was predeceased by: his father Harry Cleveland Gwyn Sr.; and his brother Phil. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Melanie Simmons (Chris), Margret West (David) and Matthew Gwyn (Sarah); his grandchildren, Alex, Garrett, Breanne, Logan, Bradon, Brinley, Matthew, Brooklyn, Kathleen and Rebecca; his mother Elizabeth Gwyn; and his siblings, Jerry, Dianne and Paul.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society in his honor.
