With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Scott Carter of Collierville, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2024 at the age of 51. He was predeceased by: his father LeRoy McClure Carter, Jr.; and his grandparents, Floyd, Joan Earnest, LeRoy and Martha Carter.
He is survived by: his mother Judith Kay Earnest Clayton; his stepfather Ronald Clayton; his aunts, Diane Gossett (Larry), Debbie Lackey (Wayne), Rebecca Burrows (Dennis) and Sharon Earnest (Marty); and also Roy Carter. He is also survived by 12 loving first cousins.
