He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Fleming and Emma Wiggington Fleming; his wife Linda Gail; his daughter Elizabeth; and his siblings, Ricky Fleming, Doris Bramucci (Pete) and Ray Fleming (Jo).

He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Martina) of Millington, Bret (Martha) of Nashville, Keith (Melanie) of Bartlett and Jason (Stacey) of Collierville; his grandchildren, Amy Dickson, Chad Fleming (Leslie), Zak Smith (Jeanne), Austin Smith, Darla Parks (Daniel), Parker Fleming (Allie), Meghan Fleming, Jake Fleming and Callie Fleming; and his sister Kitty Brashier. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, a niece, and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital – Allie's Allies (JC's granddaughter-in-law).
