We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2022, at the age of 85, Elsa B. Walls of Collierville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Ronald Lee Walls, Stevenson Walls (Ossie), Brenda Lee Walls, Clinton Walls and Jacqueline Woodson (Ben); her grandchildren, Candice B. Quinones (Jose Antonio) and Stevenson Walls Jr.; her parents, John Henry Jones and Alma Nichols-Jones; and her siblings, Azzie Lee Harris (Leroy), John Henry Jones Jr., J. P. Jones, Bonnie Jean Davis (Richard), Ethel Mae Graham (Walter), Hazel Johnson (David) and Almetra Roddie (Granville).
She is survived by: her former husband Juluis Walls Jr.; and her grandchildren, Julia Keisha Yvette Womack (DeShawn), Clarrin Odessa DeFord (Larry Julio), Cheneice Dante Walls, Jammel Marquis Walls, Jacqueline Monique Woodson, Ben Woodson Jr., Tiara Johnson, Tashauna Walls, Alexander Walls, Timothy Walls and Faith Walls. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She held this position until 2020 when the Senior Citizen Program was temporarily shut down due to COVID-19.
