We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2022, at the age of 69, Debra Person Benke (Collierville, Tennessee), born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Person and Katie Trottman Person of Collierville, TN.. She is survived by: her husband Vern Benke Jr.; her son Nick Godwin of Mount Pleasant; her stepson Vern Benke III; her grandchildren, Waylon Godwin, Wyatt Godwin, Morgan Benke and Ethan Benke; and her sisters, Nancy Pitts and Jan Scott.

In lieu of flowers, the family request any donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
