He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Beth Thomas O'Neal; his parents, William Lester and Beverly Tidwell O'Neal; and his sisters, Peggy Ann Scott Smith and Judy Lee Kyer.
He is survived by: his son Brian Thomas O'Neal of Collierville, TN; his siblings, Lester Thomas O'Neal (Diana) of Rossville, TN, Ralph Christopher O'Neal (Sara) of Florence, MS and Norma Van Namen (Charles) of Batesville, MS; and his grandchildren, Brian Thomas O'Neal, Jr., William Dale O'Neal and Mary Marley O'Neal.
