Bertha Mitchell Norris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Mitchell Norris of Collierville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 18, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Byrd Norris; her parents, Fred Mitchell and Zula Riggs Mitchell; and her siblings, Floyd Mitchell, William E Mitchell, Ralph Mitchell and Nevella Mitchell Green.
She is survived by: her sisters, Shelby Mitchell Drummond and Ann Mitchell; her children, James Larry Robertson (Karen) and Patricia Lynn Bonnette (Mike); and her grandchildren, Michelle Robertson Fischer (Steve), Scott Robertson (Patricia) and Alison Robertson. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Bertha's honor to the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf or The National World War II Memorial.
