She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Moffitt and Azalea Rowell Moffitt; her husband Ruben Otis Cross; her son Phillip Wayne Cross; and her siblings, Kyle Moffitt, Clyde Moffitt, John Moffitt, Dora Moffit Hatcher, Lee Earl Moffitt McBryde, Kathleen Moffitt Martin, Geneva Moffitt Mauney and Hermie Moffitt Moore.

She is survived by: her son Samuel Otis Cross (Episcopal) of Collierville. She is also survived by many loving nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
