She was predeceased by: her husband Izak Frederick Wessels MD; and her daughter Rhoda Nadine Wessels. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Delia Wessels Anderson (Todd) and Gunter Wessels; her brother Ivan Blake (Elvera) of Fletcher, NC; and her grandchildren, Amara Wessels, Lucia Wessels, Gianna Wessels, Garrett Anderson and Annika Anderson.
