Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bettie Chastain of Collegedale, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 85, on September 1, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warnie Knighting and Leona Knighting; her husband Elmer W. Chastain; her stepdaughter Linda Rhodes; and her siblings, Daisy Knighting, Carl and Charlie Knighting.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Chastain and Dawn Edgeman (Kevin); her sister Faye Cash (Lyle); her granddaughter Staci Tallent; her great grandchildren, Kaden, Ace and Isaac Tallent; her stepgrandchildren, Rhonda Black, Kari Wilson and Lee Rhodes; and her close friends, Cathy Salhaney and Dot Bull.
Per the current health situation and the mandate of the Hamilton County Mayor, visitors must adhere to all CDC guidelines, including social distancing and the wearing of facial coverings for visitation and services.
