He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan Dodd and Myrtle Fagan Dodd; his siblings, Harold, Johnny, Jimmy, Gerald, Elbert Dodd, Ruth Skinner and Mary King; and his son-in-law Jeff Mires.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Frost Dodd; his children, Steve Dodd, Judy Hastings (Garry), Cathy Mires and Beth Rakes (Marty); his siblings, Earl Dodd (Mary), Nelson Dodd (Jean), Emogene Dodd and Linda Lipscomb (Buddy); and his grandchildren, Erica Marlin, Luke Mires (Katie-Anne), Katie Bostelman (Dominic), Matthew Hastings (Jenna), Victoria Dodd, Morgan, Anna, Maggie and Andrew Rakes. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
