It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Lynn Wood of College Grove, Tennessee, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Rachel has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Krantz and Brenda Neal Krantz of College Grove; her children, Hunter Wood (Allison) of Murfreesboro, Madison Kretzer (Keegen) of Bon Aqua and Riah McGaughy of College Grove; her grandchildren, Sadler Wood, Nora Wood, Harlynn Kretzer, Ridley Kretzer and Kade Kretzer; and her sister Rachelle Sells (James) of Paris.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodbury Funeral Home (504 W Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home (504 W Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Gunter Grizzle Cemetery.
