She was predeceased by: her daughter Debra Ann Buford; her husbands, Franklin Weatherly and Owen Jackson; her parents, J. W. "Bill" Smithson and Myrtle Smithson; her siblings, John Henry Smithson, Horace Smithson, Leslie Smithson (Bo), Mae Mangrum and Martha Hornburger; her daughter-in-law Mary Buford; the father of her children Leslie Buford; and her great great grandchild Easton Lane Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Buford, Faye Bennett (Terry), Billy Buford (Kathy Russell) and Connie LaFond (Rob); her grandchildren, Thomas Buford (Leah), Shannon Atkinson, Lana Rutoskey (Pat), Mike Bennett (Michelle), Keith Bennett, Kevin Buford, Susie Green, Bryon Polk (Cathy), Tonya Achter (Kurt), Megan Schneider (Matt), Michael Reeves (Josie), Lindsey Buford, Blake Bennett, Cole Branch, Dean Mullen, Dillon Bennett (Kristen), Taylor Bedwell (Jordan), Michael Bennett Jr., Zach Mullen, Madison Rutoskey, Hunter Bennett, Morgan Rutoskey, Grant Polk, Brett Polk, Jessica Buford, Owen Buford, Kyla, Isaac Schneider, Alexis, Jackson Achter, Destiny Ward, Noah Hamilton and Katelyn Graves; her great great grandchildren, Jeremiah Buford, Kasey, Annie Bennett, Winston Bennett, Ella Bennett and Steven Israel III; her nieces and nephews, Vickie Mangrum, Debbie Flowers, Leslie Smithson, Larry Tomlin, Johnny Smithson, Diane Smithson-Brewer and Randy Smithson; and also Ronnie Johnson.
