He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Green and Annie Green; his wife Frances Green; his son Terry Green; and his stepson Wayne Hood.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Green (Kathy), Dale Green (Peggy), Teresa Smith (Jimmy) and Kim Noland (Mike); and his siblings, Johnny Green (Hilda) and Ruby Ashworth. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and many loving great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Gardens (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
