He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Earl Sledge; and his grandparents, Clifton, Lorene Sledge, Robert (Jidas) and Virginia Mayfield.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Sledge King of College Grove; his sons, Blaze Sledge and Tyler "PeeWee" Sledge of College Grove; his grandson Caden Sledge; his sisters, Lisa Burke (Lowell) of Chapel Hill, Tammy Sledge Bowling (Miller Culberson) of College Grove and Penny Barnes (Eddie) of Chapel Hill; and his close friend Sara Rippy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (203 S Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN 37034). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
