She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Thomas Lee and Roy Douglas Lee; her husband John W. Hood (James M. Butts); her son John Dale Hood; her grandson John W. Hazelwood; and her sons-in-law, Larry J. Hazelwood and Jay U. Sterling.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Sterling, Judy Martin and Donna Hazelwood; her grandchildren, Rhonda Hall, Andy Hall (Tracy), Guy Ferrell, III, Amy Smith (Steve), Cathey H. Polk (Bryon) and John Dale Hood, Jr. (Erin); her great great grandchildren, Jamie and Vince Ray; and her siblings, Sadie Holt, Tillie Hager and Roger Lee. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
