He is survived by: his wife Ruby Jean Tomlin Maxwell; his children, James Madison Maxwell, III (Paulette), Donna Jean Roberson (Keith), Jeffrey Thomas Maxwell (Rhonda) and Jason Karl Maxwell; his grandchildren, Kyle Maxwell, Amanda Bogle (Adam), Sam Maxwell (Bethany), Crystal Roberson, Angie Williams (Nathan), Justin Maxwell (Kayla) and Katie Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Madi Bogle, Sadi Bogle, Lane, Lacey, Luke Williams, Karley, Jace and Zaiden Maxwell; and his sister Carol Watkins.
