He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Rupley Barnes; his children, Carey Payne (Rob), Wayne Barnes (Vicki) and Bryant Barnes (Lisa); and his grandchildren, David Barnes (Hannah), Michael Barnes (Sara), Lindsey Gunnells (Jarrett), Nathan Miller (Ashley), Jessica Ramirez (Chrystian) and Kristie Tucker (Jake).
