She was predeceased by: her husband Norris Smith; and her son Rick Farmer. She is survived by: her children, Charles Farmer (Judy) and Shasta Fisher (Mark); and her grandchildren, Shane King, Crystal Yates (Josh), Richard "Bubba" Farmer (Kara), Ricky Farmer (Annie), Shanea Farmer (Cheyenne Crafton) and Amber Baggett (Jason). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
