Donald Ray Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 82, Donald Ray of College Grove, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Ray to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Luke Ray and Martha Frances Rule Ray; his daughter Susan Lynn Ray; and his brother Jack Ray. He is survived by: his wife Mary Woerly Ray of College Grove, TN; his children, Sandra Cavanaugh (Steve) of Kirkwood, IL, Paula Mettler (Fred) of Murfreesboro, TN, Kathy Stewart of Murfreesboro, TN, Steve Ray (Krissy) of Chapel Hill, TN and Michael Ray of Chapel Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Megan, James, Patrick, Matthew, Jared, Justine, Jevanie, Brandon, Susan, Ryan, Lindsay and Alysa Ray; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Cayden, Caroline, Charley Kate, Kinsley, Isabelle, Tom, Benjamin of Zayne, SJ and Mary Kate; and his sister Mary Frances Damewood of Ohio.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Luke Catholic Church (10682 Old Nashville Hwy, Smyrna, TN 37167). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
