Alfred Powers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfred Powers of College Grove, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alfred may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowry H. Powers, Jr. and Doris M. Powers. He is survived by: his wife Susan Young Powers; his children, Sheldon Powers and Courtney Powers Lent (Cameron); and his grandson Sawyer Lent.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 6917 Arno-Allisona Rd, College Grove, TN 37046.
