He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Jean Cole Taylor; his parents, Charles Hylard Taylor and Clara Evans Taylor; and his siblings, Lonas Taylor and Juanita Taylor Dalton.
He is survived by: his children, Kingston of Tennessee and Lisa Taylor Roberts; his son-in-law D. Cordell Roberts, Jr.; his grandchildren, Katrina Roberts Umphrey (Ray), Jesse Roberts (Lindsey) and Caleb Roberts; and his sister Lola Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
