She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearlie Farner and Rosie Hughes Farner; her husband Johnny Shaw; and her children, Timmy Shaw, Beth Shaw, Lesa Pacosz Nix, W. R. Shaw, Joni Smrt and Judy Helgerson.
She is survived by: her children, Jessi Shaw, Melanie Dush (Bryan), Frank Shaw (Elizabeth), John Shaw (Betsy), Tressia Watson, Sam Shaw, George Shaw and Susan Subel (Chuck); her close friend Natalie Watkins Morgan; and also Barbara Smith. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren.
