She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hembree Brown and Dorothy Haynes Brown; her sister Lora Gay Brown; her son-in-law Darrell Sanders; her parents-in-law, Melvin and Frankie Burrows; her husband Stanley Burrows; her daughters, Sandy Graham (Derryl), Karen Meeks and Valerie Sanders; her siblings, G. C. Brown (Hazel), Junior Brown, Nelson Brown (Patsy), Jerry Brown, Rose Slatton, Carol Shrum and Gail Curtis; her grandsons, Nick Meeks (Anna), Dustin Graham (Carrie), Alex Rhea (Christopher) and Dillon Graham (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Drew, Jordan, Drake, Stanley and Mattie. She was also cherished by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Youth Ministry at Myers Hill 1st Congregational Methodist Church.
