Ray Winton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Winton of Coalmont, Tennessee, who passed away on May 31, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Winton and Nina Campbell Winton; his siblings, Dale, Jamie, Wayne, Howard, Nannie Mae and Ruth Northcutt; and his close friends, Sam Creighton and Larry Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Doris McCormick Winton; his daughters, Lisa Crabtree of Decherd, Marcheta Darnell (David) of Kelso and Laurie Winton of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Megan (Nathan Green), Tiffany McKee (Steven) and Sam Darnell; his granddaughter-in-law Tami Darnell; his great grandchildren, Macey, Madison, Cooper Green, Gage and Garrison McKee; his nieces and nephews, Wilma Trussler, Anita Pennell, Verna Lynn Johnson, Gayle VanHooser, Shannon Winton Owens, Mike Winton and Bobby Winton; his grandsons, Nathan Green and Steven McKee; his son-in-law David Darnell; his nephew Jay Trussler; his friends, Dale Phipps and Tommy Curtis; and his cousin J. L. Winton. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
