She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Burnett and Myrtle Hammers Burnett; her husband Carl David "Copie" Irvin; her children, Larry David Irvin and Teresa Elaine Anderson; and her siblings, Francis Burnett, Melvin Burnett, Jim Burnett, Leon Burnett, Lillard Burnett, Paul Burnett, Nelson Burnett, Hershel Burnett, Wayne Burnett, May Gibbs, Margie Sweeton, Ola Burnett and Novella Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy D. Irvin (Matt Jernigan); her son-in-law Ed Anderson; and her grandchildren, Michael Anderson (Tiffany), Tony Anderson, Ryan Nunley, Sonja Hart (Shawn) and Suzi Thigpen (Ben). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
