He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wayne Hickey and Mary Elizabeth Layne Hickey. He is survived by: his sisters, Marie, Christine, Betty, Maxine and Lela Mae "Judy" Hickey; his wife Sigrid Lux Hickey; his children, James Hickey (Sheila) of Kingston, IL, Jason Hickey of Toledo, OH and Michelle Wende (Paul) of Channahon, IL; his sisters, Clara Pruitt of Ringgold, GA and Johnnie Ruth Hickey (Bobby Shelton) of Chattanooga, TN; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Hickey, Morgann Grohmann, Alexandra Wende and John Wende. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
