He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harley Tate and Ruby Omalee Meeks Tate; his sisters, Betty Sue Worley and Patsy Burnett; his wife Jennie Lee Brown Tate; his daughter Carrie Tate; his siblings, Dwight Tate (Linda), Keith Tate (Mona), Phyllis Brown (John) and Rene Hampton (Randy); his granddaughter Candida Tate; and his great grandchild Cadence Davis. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
