He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Byrd Cannon and Larry Wayne Cannon; and his cousin Cindy Byrd Smith. He is survived by: his grandmother Dortha Jane Byrd (Dot); his son Samuel Scott Cannon; his sisters, Tiffany Hill, Mitzi Cupp and Terri Bowman (Wendell); his cousin Carey Beth Kuhaida; his aunt Nancy Byrd; and his close friends, Gary, Rosetta Lively, Ray Tucker, John and Cross.
