She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mitchell and Emma Jean Mitchell (Bobbie); and her brother Danny Ray Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Kristy Gross (Scott) of Karns, Jessica Carroll (Joe Beeler) of Knoxville and D. J. Carroll of Atlanta; her siblings, Billy Joe Mitchell (Charlotte) of Oliver Springs, Diane Powell (Robert) of Coalfield and Connie Culver (Glen) of Oak Ridge; her sister-in-law Sandra Mitchell of Coalfield; her grandchildren, Izabella, Hayden, Mattie, Hunter, Ethan and Everly; and her foster parents, Ed Chabot (Poppy) and Violet Chabot of Claxton. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Jackson Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
