He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughter Sherri Turpin (Lee) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Luke Turpin (Morgan) of Richmond, Virginia and Emmie of Nashville; his son Chris Whaley (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jonathan Whaley and Tori Whaley of Harriman; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy Turner (Wanda) of Wartburg, Jerry of Harriman, Randy of Harriman, Tony Luffman of Harriman, Cheryl Jones of Goodlettsville and Angie Butler (Tommy) of Pinson, Alabama..
