He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Tipton and Mary Ella Franklin; his wife Barbara Sue "Sudie" Romines; his children, Tony (Paulette) and Janice Hensley (Juel); his grandchildren, Austin (Carla), Rebecca, Samuel (Tiffany) and Andrew (Caroline); his great grandchildren, Grace, Lilly and William; and his siblings, Jay C. Franklin (Nancy) and Mary Jane Franklin Shoun (Richard).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Northern Lights Missions to share God's love with the people in Alaskan Villages.
