He was predeceased by: his daughter Henrietta Jarnigan; his parents, William Clint and Lucy Cook Jarnigan; and his siblings, Nancy Jarnigan, Myrtle Bunch (Wilburn), Bonnie Jones, Private Clifton Lee Jarnigan, Clarence Jarnigan (Betty), Tom Jarnigan and J. W. Jarnigan.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jarnigan; his children, Gary Jarnigan, Dianne Rymer and Daryl Jarnigan (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Chad Jarnigan (Taylor), Condreana Mann (Landon) and Noah Jarnigan; his great grandchild Colt William Mann; his brother Gene Jarnigan (Juanita); and his sisters-in-law, Wilma Jarnigan, Loretta Cox and Lois Bray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
