She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Lane and Liddie Lane (Early); her sister Elizabeth Lane Elliott (Rennie); her parents-in-law, Rev. Maynard and Regina Light (Dean); her brother-in-law Ted Light; her aunt Norma Jean Lane; her husband David "Dave" Light; her daughters, Debbie, Donna Light (William Lee Cardwell), Darlene Bunch (Eddie) and Danielle Null (Kevin); her grandchildren, Will Cardwell (Emilee), Samantha Bunch (Andrew), Daniel Cardwell (Gray), Justin Bunch, Kevin Bunch (Marissa), Kendall Layne Null and Kylan Stooksbury; her great grandchildren, Grayson Cole Cardwell, Marley and Ella Bunch; her friend Jearl; and her sister Dottie Giles (Larry).

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the family requests that those attending the service wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Greenway Baptist Church in her memory.
