He is survived by: his wife Kandi Shepherd Alderson; his children, Katie Phillips (Scott Page) and Johnathan Alderson (Erin Rogers); his grandchildren, Abby, Lucas, Zachary and Eric; and his mother-in-law Kathryn Shepherd.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and limitations, a Private family funeral will be held.
