He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mashak; his children, Zachary Fischer (Paige), Courtney Rybicki (Will) and Deshawn Coffey; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Devereaux (Bob) and Joseph Kenny; and his pets, Holli and Odie.

“It is with sadness in my heart that I have lost my father this past November but what hurts worse is that after 37 years of being his biological daughter, I have been erased from his obituary. He also has a grandson that was not mentioned as well. I miss my dad immensely and wish our lives could have been much different. Up until 2 years ago, my dad was my best friend and my go to guy. I'm sure 100% on what changed but no matter what, my dad will always stay in my heart.”
