It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jane White of Clinton, Tennessee, born in Lake City, Tennessee, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Spears and Ella Bullock Spears; her siblings, Wilma Spears, Loretta Simpson and Mickey Spears; and her great grandchild Sawyer Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Mitzi White Baker, Paula White Carroll (Dusty), Christopher White and Jeff White (Frances); her grandchildren, Stephanie Carroll (Daniel), Tyson Baker, Kayla Baker and Danielle Coffey; her great grandchildren, Laken, Oliver, Layne and Emery; her close friends, Dianne Goff, Richard Swartz and Shawnta Glenn; and her pet Knoxville Baker.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Mortuary (375 N Main St, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (478 Old Dutch Valley Rd, Clinton, TN 37716).
