With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger Leitner of Clinton, Tennessee, born in Boise, Idaho, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roger left this world on January 5, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Leitner (Sally Leitner) and Sally Leitner; his parents-in-law, Carlock and Juanita Stooksbury; and his sister-in-law Joan Brown (Geron).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Stooksbury Leitner; his children, Laura Shields (Craig) and R. Steven Leitner, Jr. (Holly); his grandchildren, Anna, Sophia Shields, Russell and Roger S. Leitner, III; his brothers, Neil (Lys) and Clayne (Sharon); his sister-in-law Lisa Tavangaran (Mansour); and his cousin BarbaraYoung. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Francis Episcopal Church (154 W Norris Rd, Norris, TN 37828). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
