It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Steven Smith of Clinton, Tennessee, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Rodney Steven departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rodney Steven. Though Rodney Steven may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Smith and Onelda Smith; and his brother James Oscar Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Smith (Linda) of Knoxville, TN., Juanita Prewitt of Clinton, TN and Rheba McClain of Taylor, MI.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Raccoon Valley Church of God (1403 W Raccoon Valley Dr, Heiskell, TN 37754).
