He was predeceased by: his parents, Park Stone and Ada Howell; his sister Doris Higdon of Knoxville; and his nephew Rob Tokes of Clinton, Ohio.. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Stone; his children, Ginger Stone of Oak Ridge and Robert Stone (Rhonda) of Knoxville; his granddaughters, Taryn Torbett (Chris) of Knoxville, Taylor Lay of Oak Ridge and Trista Lay of Oak Ridge; and his sisters, Virginia "Pat" Tokes of Clinton and Genevieve "Whis" Harber of Clinton. He is also survived by three nieces and five nephews.
