He was predeceased by: his daughter Michelle DeVoe; his parents, Melvin DeVoe and Michelle DeVoe; his siblings, Max DeVoe and Anna Kindler; and his brother-in-law Rev. Charles Harness.
He is survived by: his wife Clara "Tootsie" DeVoe; his sons, Timothy DeVoe and Rex DeVoe II (Darcy); and his grandchildren, Patty Sokolow (JC), Cenedra Green (Steven), Kayla Banner, Georja McAninch (Adam), Colton DeVoe (Jennifer), Dustin DeVoe (Sara) and Jacob DeVoe. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews.
