She was predeceased by: her son Carl Glen Lay; and her siblings, Eugene Hamlin and Christine Chaney. She is survived by: her husband James Lay of Rocky Top, TN; her children, James Linvell Lay II (Wilma) of Rocky Top, TN, Janice Bailey (Roy) of Clinton, TN, Lewie Lay (Regenia) of Andersonville, TN and Kara Lehman (Paul) of Powell, TN.; and her friend Verna Day of Andersonville, TN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
