He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Phillips and Elsie Phillips; his wife Georgia Ann Phillips; and his siblings, Ralph Phillips, Ravena Powell (Bob) and Melva McKamey.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise; his son-in-law Denver Scalf III; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Renee Phillips; his grandchildren, Madison Scalf, Bryson Scalf, Tyler Phillips and Carson Phillips; his nephews, Kenny and Keith Powell; and his great-nephew Brad Powell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
