He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Russell, Sr. and Georgia Mae Bice; his wife Marjorie J. Bice; his siblings, Annette Galloway, Carl Russell, Jr., Gene and Bobby; his nephew Hubert Duncan, III; and his brother-in-law Hubert Duncan, II.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bernice Loy (late Cleveland), Jannette Byrd (Don) and Sam Bice (Brenda); his sister-in-law Lorene Duncan of Clinton; his nieces and nephews, Brian Galloway, Jimmy Loy, Danny Loy, Steve Bice, Johnny Bice, Roger Byrd, Joan Roberts, Brenda Therry, Toni Loy, Jackie Byrd, Tammy Marlow, Valerie Galloway, Kristi Phillips, Lora Duncan Nickell (Mark) and Jeanne Duncan; his daughter Brenda Phillips Duncan; and his close friends, Randy and Kara McKamey.
