As Opal departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Opal may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Opal leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Duncan and Novella Martin Duncan; her husband Luther E. Miller; and her daughter Brenda. She is survived by: her grandson John F. K. Page of Queens, NY; her sister Rachel Koennecker (Jack) of California; her niece Debbie Armstrong (Bob) of Oklahoma; and also, Edna, David and Danny Farmer of Clinton.
