He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Tammy, Gene Marlow, Kristi and Chris Phillips; his grandchildren, Brandon, Olivia Marlow, Autumn, Rachael and Caleb Phillips; his sisters, Bernice Loy and Jannette Byrd (Don); his sister-in-law Shelia Brogan (Wally); and his close friends, Terry and Lisa Abner.
