She was predeceased by: her father Martin Luther King Sr.; her husband Charles Gallion; and her sister Wilma Lue Branstetter. She is survived by: her son James Riley Brooks III; her siblings, Martin "Marty" Luther King Jr., Joseph Lincoln King and Kathy Jane Vowell; and her grandchildren, James Riley Brooks IV and Deven Brooks Simonds.
